Recipe: Flackers! A delicious way to bring crunch to your ketogenic diet!
Most people who have done the ketogenic diet for any extended period of time know that one of the things you miss the most is the crunchy foods. It caught me by surprise how much I missed having something crunchy to dip my baba ghanoush or plant-based dip in.
Here it is! Flackers are flax crackers, and are an easy and delicious way to get that crunch in that is totally keto! Flax also has the added benefit of being great for your bowel movements, and a phytoestrogen. Phytoestrogens weakly bind to the estrogen receptor and decrease the high estrogen states in women. They are thus GREAT for balancing hormones!
